Introducing Flexible, URL-Based, Script-Free Packages

At SiteBeacon, our mission is to help you achieve the "triple win": better performance, improved accessibility, and a lower carbon footprint. When you improve one of these metrics, you almost always improve the others, leading to a better experience for your users, a healthier planet, and better business performance.

For our initial product, we wanted to enable users to track everything, every single page, to find every optimisation opportunity, and unlock full website carbon data. But this came at a cost, and we realised that everyone can still benefit enormously from tracking a smaller number of ‘template’ pages, so we have adapted our packages, enabling more websites to use the tool across a set of important pages, significantly improving the number of sites.

That is why we are introducing a new way to use SiteBeacon: flexible, script-free monitoring for a set of URLs across a site.

 

A New Approach: Smart Sampling

We have added new packages that allow you to track a focused selection of URLs, such as 100, 500, or 1000, without installing any code.

You might be asking: “If I only track 100 URLs on a 10,000-page site, won’t I miss something?”

The answer lies in Template Optimisation.

Modern websites are built on templates. You likely have one design for blog posts, another for product pages, and a third for landing pages. Even if your site has 10,000 pages, it is likely built on just a handful of unique designs.

By auditing a representative sample, say, 10 blog posts and 10 product pages, you effectively audit the entire site structure.

The Leverage Effect: If our scan reveals an oversized image or an accessibility error on your "product page" template, that error is likely repeating thousands of times. By fixing that one template, you instantly improve thousands of pages at once.

We have removed the biggest barrier to getting started. With our new URL-based packages:
